Not-So-Little Family Reunion Day 2: Chocolate...and Relatives, Too, I Suppose

The next morning came early, but the rest of the royal family apparently awoke before me, and after delivering my meal to my mouth, whisked me away once again. We were shortly with my aunt, Cari, and uncle, James, both of whom I was meeting for the first time. Cari held me throughout our little meeting, as James claimed to be contagious or something like that. I think it was a lame excuse, but he would make up for it a week later by holding me a ton. Everybody else was eating donuts and this thing called chocolate. Cari, taking a big step forward in trying to win my favor over James, took some chocolate on her finger and put it in my mouth.
"What is that? Is that chocolate? Is this really happening? Oh my gosh I love you!"

Whenever I have eaten anything in the past, I have always been turned off by the flavor at first. Not this time. My taste-buds, which have grown accustomed to the bland, sour taste of formula and the likewise bland taste of this oddly colored stuff my parents call "food", exploded in rapturous delight. I gave them my best smile to let them know that I was well pleased and would appreciate more. They didn't give me more, as they are greedy barbarians, but I have savored that taste in my memory ever since.

Excuse me, sir, may I please have some more chocolate? Darn that looks delicious....

Oh, it was also nice to meet Cari and James.
After wasting time with shopping for things which weren't for me, we got in the rented carriage and headed out to a place called The Outer Banks. I believe it is called that because it takes forever to get there. I slept a good portion of the way.
I must say, however, that when we finally arrived, we were in a castle that I felt worthy of the name. It was quite spacious, with many rooms. It also came fully stocked with an infinite number of children and just as many adults. The innumerable children seemed to enjoy, as my mother would put it, "Getting all up in my business." For one day only, I broke my Vow of No Sustained Cuddles with my grandmother to seek shelter in her care from the onslaught.

"Daddy, there are so many people! I'm scared! I'm also afraid that this picture is not in focus."

When it was finally time for sleep, I welcomed it happily, thinking I might return home the next morning. I foolishly believed that there was no way that my kingdom was large enough to require such a long drive, nor one of those useless flights to return home.
